Junior Purchase Executive

Job Description

Purchase order and documentation Prepare purchase orders based on approved requirements and quotations. Ensure purchase orders, invoices, delivery challenges and supporting documents are complete and accurate. Coordinate with Accounts for timely invoice verification and processing. Material follow-up and delivery coordination Follow up with suppliers for order confirmation, dispatch, and delivery. Maintain an updated status of pending purchase orders. Escalate potential delivery delays to the Senior Purchase Executive. Inventory management Coordinate with Stores to track stock levels and material receipts. Monitor minimum stock levels and highlight shortages or excess inventory. Ensure received quantities and documentation are properly recorded. Price and order compliance Verify prices against approved quotations and purchase orders. Ensure purchases are made only against authorized requirements and approved specifications. Highlight price discrepancies before processing orders or bills. Bill processing and coordination Submit complete supplier bills to Accounts within the prescribed timeline. Follow up on pending invoices and resolve documentation gaps. Maintain accurate purchase records and reports
