1. Candidate Terms of Use

Candidates using Expectin agree to provide accurate, complete and truthful information while using the Platform.

• Provide genuine personal, educational and employment information.
• Fake profiles, impersonation and misleading employment history are prohibited.
• Upload only resumes and documents that belong to you.
• Spam applications, automated submissions and misuse of the platform are prohibited.
• Expectin does not guarantee interviews, recruiter responses, employment, salary, visa sponsorship or career outcomes.
• Job application limits depend on the subscribed plan.
• Promotional offers and application credits may change without prior notice.

2. Employer Terms of Use

Employers must use candidate information solely for legitimate recruitment purposes.

• Candidate information shall not be sold, redistributed or commercially exploited.
• Employers must comply with labour, employment, privacy and anti-discrimination laws.
• Fake job postings and misleading recruitment activities are strictly prohibited.
• Expectin reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate employer accounts found violating these Terms.
• Employers are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of candidate information.

3. ATS Resume Score Disclaimer

ATS Resume Scores are generated using AI-assisted analysis and proprietary evaluation methods.

• ATS Reports should be treated as recommendations.
• Recruiters may use different ATS systems.
• Individual hiring practices vary between companies.

4. AI Resume Builder & AI Services

Expectin uses Artificial Intelligence to generate resumes, summaries, ATS reports, profile suggestions, cover letters and resume improvements.

• AI recommendations are advisory only.
• AI does not guarantee employment.
• Expectin is not liable for inaccuracies generated by AI.

5. Resume Writing Services

Resume Writing Services include consultation, drafting, ATS optimization, formatting and revisions according to the purchased package.

6. Subscription, Billing & Payment

Expectin provides free and premium subscription plans. Subscription benefits depend on the selected plan and may change from time to time.

7. Refund & Cancellation Policy

• Resume Writing orders may be cancelled only before work commences.
• Duplicate payments may be refunded after successful verification.
• Refund timelines depend upon the payment gateway and banking partner.

8. Cookie Policy

Cookies are used to improve user experience, authenticate sessions, personalize job recommendations and maintain platform security.

9. Data Retention Policy

User information is retained only for as long as necessary to provide services, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.

10. Data Deletion Policy

Users may request deletion of their account, resumes and personal information by contacting our support team.

• Delete profile information.
• Delete resumes and uploaded documents.
• Remove personal information where legally permitted.
• Certain information may still be retained to comply with legal obligations.

11. Intellectual Property

All software, website design, databases, branding, source code, APIs, graphics, documents, AI models, trademarks, logos and all intellectual property associated with Expectin remain the exclusive property of Appzeon (Proprietorship).

12. Prohibited Activities

Users shall not misuse the Platform in any manner.

13. Limitation of Liability

Expectin and Appzeon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of the Platform, AI-generated content, ATS Reports, Resume Writing Services or Employer Services.

14. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Appzeon, Expectin, employees, contractors, affiliates and partners against claims, damages, losses, legal expenses or liabilities resulting from misuse of the Platform.

15. Third-Party Services

Expectin integrates secure third-party services for payment processing, cloud hosting, AI processing, analytics, communication and authentication.

16. Security Policy

Expectin implements industry-standard security practices to protect user information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.

17. Grievance Redressal

In accordance with applicable Indian laws, users may submit complaints regarding privacy, services or platform usage to our Grievance Officer.

18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Any dispute arising from these Terms, the Platform or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.

Before initiating legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt an amicable resolution through written communication.
